What is an email?
Email stands for Electronic Mail. You will need a mailing address and this is what we called an email account.
How does it work?
In order for your to start using email, you need to have Email Account provided by our local Internet Service Provider (ISP), JARING. They will assign you a new email address for you to communicate with anyone worldwide.
What benefits do I get for having an email address?
Email lets you to send letters, memos, charts, scanned picture, and others important file to one or more recipients in any destination in the world in just a few seconds.
What are the minimum hardware requirements?
- You need to have a computer with at least 486 DX, 8MB RAM, 50MB of hard disk space free and running Windows 3.1 / Windows 95.
- A modem (Modulator Demodulator) with at least 14.4 kbps.
- An email program. (For you to send/ receive email)
- A browser software. (For you to surf the Internet)
What are the charges for an email account?
The total charges is RM 200.00 including Registration fee, Dialup Access Fee (limited usage) 2000 minutes, and service charges.
